Show at new Northwest Feline Friends Cat Club

One early Sunday morning earlier this month, we had the privilege of attending a new cat club show in Chehalis, WA, called Northwest Feline Friends Cat Club.  It was held in one of the buildings at the Chehalis Fairgrounds.  There is another cat show we have attended at the fairgrounds in the past and we assumed it would be held in the same building, we were wrong!

After unloading our show shelters, cats, carriers and extra supplies, we walked in to a room full of gun exhibitors!  Woops.  Trekked everything back to the car and kept looking around the fairgrounds.  Thankfully our cat show was soon easily found.  Got unloaded and waited by the door for 20 or so minutes for the doors to open.  It was cool outside, but British shorthair have a thick undercoat and did just fine during the wait.

It was a fun show and our ‘Tiny’ held his own.  He earned double grand champion.   We had a chance to visit with a fellow British shorthair breeder that we’ve worked with and had another maine coon breeder explain a pretty easy way to remember how the points add up.  Fun times.
